Debts are combination of loans (non secured), credit and store cards.... I'm screwed aren't I!??!?

No your not. Try not to be negatice about it all (hard i know).
    Contact the creditors and explain.
Is the loan insured - covered for loss of work etc?

No, not necessarily screwed. There is a way to sort this. As has been said, write to your creditors rather than bury your head in the sand and offer them what you can afford. If the creditors take you to court (unlikely) then the courts are likely to look favourably on you if you are trying to pay what you can afford.

Good luck and please keep posting. Everyone's here to help.

Creditors will threaten all sorts, just ignore them as they are mostly full of hot air.

Do you have any PPI on any of the products? do you have any general PPI/ASU cover? Have you tried making a claim.

As nicca says start by writing out a detailed statement of affairs so you and we can see you full position.

How hopeful are you of getting a new job soon? can OH increase hours or wages? have you checked what if any benefits you can get? www.entitledto.co.uk

There will be some way to sort your debt problems out, at least you are tackling the problem straight away not in a couple of months.
