Yes I had mine too today - £28!

Thought it was pricey when you compare it to the £10 deal as you're effectively paying another tenner for a starter and a rose or box of chocs.

Will be using my reward vouchers to get one though!

These options look even nicer than usual, if I hadn't already decided I'd like to go out to eat, I'd head down to M&S.
  • I reckon its a pretty good offer to be honest for a nice meal for two.
The normal dine in you get a main, accompaniment, dessert and a bottle of wine for a tenner.
The Valentines dine in the extras are starters and either the chocs or rose but some of the bottles of wine in this offer usually cost a tenner and some of the main courses are steak which is expensive.

If its not for you all the supermarkets seem to have a cheaper variation, I think you get what you pay for and that demand for this will be pretty huge, like most dine in deals. I personally like the quality of the food and its so much cheaper than a meal out on Valentines day.

Got mine today, very pleased with availability, choice and best before dates on everything at the Coventry ricoh store. I saved £15.68 on the individual prices of things. Thanks op, I don't venture into the food threads so I wouldn't have known without your post. :)

DH went and got ours today. This is what he got:

    Coquilles Saint Jacques
The Cook Steaks with Peppercorn sauce
    Mediterranean Roasing Veg
    Fresh Strawberries
    Cherry Liqueur Chocolates
    Barbaresco

Looks great value for 20 quid!
  • My local one had hardly anything left. Just a choice of 2 mains, chicken or lamb, choice of 2 sides, no choice for starter, about 3 wines left, choice of 2 deserts & no chocolates just dead looking flowers. Also said they werent doing it tomorrow. Very disappointing.
