backing out of loan

Can anyone tell me if it,s possible to back out of a loan I have already applied for as I've found it much cheaper though this website.
It is still in the application process, and the house has been valued.
Thanks:confused:

Until you sign on the dotted line you can back out any stage (as can the lender!).
Not sure of the situation if you have had to pay a fee in advance.

What I meant to say was that I was not sure if any FEES had to be refunded if the OP did not take out the loan.
