Got some bargains in Savacentre/Sainsbury's today

Just thought I'd share this with you all, as its not often I get a bargain :rolleyes:
In Savacentre today I got some half price cartons of cream, double was 15p and single 12p, both types can be frozen, so got 4 of each, the store had a fridge full, so if anyone shopping in a Sainsbury's its probably worth looking out for them. Also, they must have been having a clear out in the beauty/toiletries section, as they had at least 3 end of aisles filled with stuff like hairdyes, shampoos,deoderants/face products/all sorts of stuff. I got DS some Tresseme hair putty for 50p and myself a Synergie face wash for £1.50. Worth having a look around for this as well. Hope this can be of help to anyone.

I saw half price cream in ours yesterday, wished I'd picked some up. Especially as DP has suggested he makes a pavlova(sp).

Hoping they still have some in the morning as he is going to pop in to pick some up.

Nothing like this in mine but they had some cheap tents 4 man plus sleeping bags for £35....double sleeping bags for £9.99,heaagonal gazebos for £25 half price but looked very basic

Been meaning to mention this but wasn't worth starting a thread - last week at Sainsburys I got two plastic "top down" bottles of Branston tomato ketchup. They were on a multibuy but I didn't take much notice of the details of it until I checked the receipt later. They went through at £1.19 each, with £1.29 multibuy deduction! So two were actually cheaper than one .

Don't know if the offer is still on, but if so (and they had Branston brown sauce on the same offer) you can't go wrong for a stock-up.

I also got lots of good reductions in sainsbury's today. Double cream 5p for small carton 10p large ones, couldn't resist buying some even though trying to diet. I got some crumpets for 20p with a 40p coupon on the back and lots of lovely vegies and potatoes.
