Nationwide Default

Hi

I had a default placed on my file for around £500.

After a complaint to the FOS it was reduced to £80 as Nationwide said charges should not have been applied after the date of default.

What i am wondering is as they have admitted a breach of the Data Protection Act for 3 years why is no action taken against them for doing so?

All good and well them saying oh sorry we will correct it but the default they placed on file was not accurate givng a false figure on my credit file.

This is why banks do not care as no action ever seems to be taken against them for the inaccurate data they seem to place on peoples credit file.
