Unless u can get a free card tomorrow, why would anyone pay for a tastelondon or viewcard (viewlondon) when one can book through toptable who often has excellent offers?

hi all. i received my view london card some time ago, but wanted to send out a warning! the first time i used the card it was absolutely fine and a great deal. however this week, i looked up a local restaurant on the view london site and it said i could use it 2-4-1 for up to 4 people. there was no mention of the view london deal on the restaurant's website. when i rang up to make a booking, they said i could only use it for 2 people, and we had to order both a starter and a main. in the end, i cancelled the booking because that's not a great deal if you're going out with a group. anyhow, i got a text message the following day from the restaurant saying that they actually had been wrong and i could use the card for 4 people. which makes me think that some restaurants might be trying to pull a fast one on view london card holders and make a bit of extra cash off of the view london scheme.

please ensure that you confirm on the website and with the restaurant first to make sure they don't take advantage!!!!!
