I thought it might be useful for us Vegas newbies to have a list from the more experience members of the forum showing the restaurants where the restaurant.com vouchers were successfully redeemed and of the food quality.
I thank all the Vegas veterans in advance

Cafe Baba Reeba, nice food but not really authentic Tapas by european standards. Good place for lunch if you are visiting the Mall. The Sangria was mostly fruit salad.
StripSteak, at Mandalay Bay. Probably the most expensive meal I've ever eaten(and they forgot to charge for the bottle of wine) but worth every penny. The Kobe beef fillet was so tender it practically melted in the mouth. The flavoured fries with dipping sauces were yummy and the warm herbed bread filling. Both these items were complimentry. Truffled Mac and Cheese was probably not worth the money but tasty all the same. There is a cheaper fixed menu which is good value.
Both these venues took the vouchers with no problem but make sure you check the menu prices on line before you buy them as you might not spend the required amount and there are plenty of deals to be had.0 -
Casa di Amore - an Italian restaurant about 15 mins drive off strip, but they pick you up by limo for the price of a tip.
Reasonable prices and very old school.0 -
Vouchers used so far:
Ali Baba - Lebanese restaurant a few miles from the strip - decent enough food although maybe not quite worth a special trip
Ben & Jerry's - no explanation required !
Casa di Amore - as Luci states, good 'old school' Italian restaurant with live singer and free Limo pickup/dropoff from your hotel (I tipped $20 return)
Rosemary's - Lovely restaurant (#2 on TA), few miles off strip, food and service were superb
Tacone Flavor Grill - 'fast food' type place in PH Miracle Mile (don't get confused with McDs) - excellent value (about $10 for 2, after voucher), plenty of food as tasted good too
Had no problems using the vouchers. Casa di Amore forgot to add the 18% gratuity but I tipped about 20% of 'full' value anyway.
TIP: Print your vouchers as PDF file format (using Primo PDF), then if you don't use any you can easily email them to friends & family (or sharre them with the good folks over on the Vegas board)0 -
Not sure about the succesfully redeemed thing - with a very few exceptions they'll always be successfully redeemed so long as they are open.
Can only think of one case where a restaurant stopped accepting the vouchers that had been purchased previously.
Ours would be:
Austin's Steakhouse at Texas Station - several times, one of our favorites...make it there usually once a trip.
Sonoma Cellar at Sunset Station - same menu and quality as Austin's, we prefer the Austin's for the restaurant itself.
Blondie's at Miracle Mile Shops - good pub food, reasonably priced with voucher, terribly overpriced without.
Ali Baba - agree with tingtong.
Ben & Jerry's - awesome...also one of those 'good value with voucher, overpriced without' but it's B&J, so maybe worth it either way.
Tacone - good and relatively healthy for fast food
Origin India - fabulous. Possibly the best Indian food in Vegas...run by a Brit, so you would expect it to be good.
Original Pancake House (at GVR, but multiple locations) - many times...awesome pancakes...terrible coffee.
Envy Steakhouse at the Renaissance - great steak (MIL said it was the best she had ever had) and some great sides too...
Stripburger - really, really glad that we tried it last trip since it will be closed before we go again. Shame as it was great.
And Quark's, may it rest in peace.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
We used Restaurant.com vouchers most evenings ... our 3 favorite ..
Strip steak - AMAZING!! ... mac cheese & strawberry cheese cake 10/10
Ben & Jerry - Ice cream dream.
Strip burger - Delicious burger's, nice location and friendly staff."Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone, and do not be troubled about the future, for it has yet to come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering"0 -
Restaurant.com certificates no longer have an expiry date.0
