And it probably saves energy and water by restricting the flow - something which you can use the existing tap to do.0 -
i read a review a while ago (on this site if i remember correctly) from a plumber explaining how these things can damage certain boilers/showers/pipes etc
i'd recommend anyone getting one to do their homework before they install it. the amount saved isnt going to compensate the amount for a new boiler0 -

+1 I originally tried one of these at home and it just shot water out of a hole across the bathroom floor. I gather that it only works on showers with more than 1.0 bar which doesn’t suit most homes.
in the end i went with one of these eonshowersave .co uk and had better results0 -
I have one of these and it is brilliant, (if installed the right way round). It mixes air with the water which gives the impression of powerful flow but without the quantity of water going down plughole, you can't get that by turning down the tapsJako0
