    No!!!

Just go to the interviews and answer the questions....if you get offered any jobs then work then accept and if you get offered two - then make your mind up as to which one you want.
  • Thanks for that, i'd rather have the job at the second interview as it's only 5 mins up the road, but if i get offered both i have to way up the pros and cons of both, thats if i'm lucky enough to be offered them of course lol.

It takes time for paperwork etc to go through so you should have time in the event that you get offered both. I wouldnt tell them about the other interview unless they ask but wouldnt lie about it if they do.

No, they don't need to know this!!!

Good luck! Let us know how you get on!

Accept the job verbally, if you're offered it (act pleased!). You can always phone back, or write to them, if you're offered the other job. No big deal, it's quite common.

Don't burn your bridges too soon! Don't mention to job #1 that you're being interviewed/awaiting a decision from job #2, until it actually happens.

Ideally, wait for a written offer from one, if not both, jobs before you do anything rash (i.e. turn down a job, or hand your notice in at your current job).
    £1 / 50p 2011 holiday flight + hotel expenses = £98.50600

HSBC 8% 12mth regular savings = £80 out of a maximum remaining allowance of £2500

    "3 months' salary" reserve = £00 / £3600

No you don't have to stall them; just accept the job if they offer it. Then if you get offered another; call them up and tell them you have been offered a different job which you are accepting. See my post number 2.....
  • Interview 1 just called to say i was unsuccessfull, i was quietly relived.
Interview 2 tomorrow really hope i get that one.
  • Good luck!! I always get in a panic about things like this too (not that I have been lucky enough in the whole of 2009 to be offered two jobs at once).

I know this is no longer an issue, but it may be in the future. Rather than accepting, I'd say it was better form to ask for 24 or 48 hours to think about it, or even the weekend. If they push for a decision sooner than that, you still don't HAVE to say you have another interview lined up: I always say I want to sleep on it or consider the implications for my family.

I once waited a week or more for a candidate to accept our verbal offer because they had another interview. It would have been more difficult if any of the other applicants had been suitable but it was another of those situations where people put all sorts on their application form but then seem unable to complete a simple letter writing task!
