edited 16 February 2010 at 9:28PM in It's gone, but was it any good?
Just had an Asda email, they have one girls and one boys pushbike down from £50 to £25. Make is British Eagle, reviews online are excellent, and I've had the same brand bike for about 5 years now, doesn't do many miles :o but the build quality has been really good.

Official MoneySavingExpert.com insert:

The offer is while stocks last and is available in stores as well. As it's a large item, standard delivery is £18.95, but you can have it delivered to an Asda store for free. Thanks to creased-leach for the top find!

  • Just read through the reviews, and there are a couple of people there who said they fitted their 8yr olds- but I'd cross reference some 20" wheel bikes with your daughters height to be on the safe side.

mumof3...when I first joined the crew of a tall ship, utterly clueless, the first thing that struck me was the stupid names for things that sailors have. When the "creased leech" in one of the sails was pointed out to me, I thought I was having my leg pulled.

I thought it was a very ambiguous, cool username that wouldn't "age" iyswim. As for the "a" in place of one of the "e"s- I can't remember if there was a weird reason for it, or it was the "rum typing" :)

not sure if asda direct works the same as asda groceries coz they dont take money from bank until they are despatching goods and these bikes wont be ready for despatch until the 12th so might be worth a try ordering now. nothing ventured and all that:D
