Asda are selling whole sea bas for £1.80 each. I think this is half-price and certainly better than their permanent promotion of 2 for £6.
I am supposed to be reducing my freezer stock, rather than increasing it!

Watch out for these the majority are reared in polluted water, their fins turn out all deformed, and the meat on them turns really fibrous when you cook them, this is why the supermarkets remove the fins before displaying them.0

I have been buying sea bass in Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys and Morrisons whenever it is on offer. The fish has alwasy been perfect. I either grill or barbecue and the fish is tender and tasty and not at all fibrous.0 -
Onion and spring onion finely chopped, mix with soy sauce. Fill sea bass fillets with mixture, sprinkle with olive oil, wrap in foil, cook for about 20 mins. Delicious.
I managed to get the fishmonger to fillet 10 fish for me. I am cokking 7 tomorrow night. Will it be ok to cook all 7 fillets together in foil, or do I need to wrap each fillet individually. Please can you also tell me what temperature.
Many thanks.0 -
