Was there in may, was not alot to do to be honest. We travelled to Beamish Open Air Centre which was a good day out. Haggerston caravan park itself has alot for kids, didn't check out the swimming pool and you have to pay for everything by purchasing a fun pass. Not sure how much they were as we blagged our way in with my 16 month old niece.0

Well theres Berwick itself that will take you eeerrr at least half a day. Then theres Holy Island. There are actually lots of nice beaches in Northumberland. Bamburgh castle. Also Newcastle and Edinburgh a short drive away. Lots of wonderful countryside walking if thats your thing"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

You are not far from Alnwick Gardens (20 miles south on A1), it's a great day out if you take a picnic and spare clothes for the kids as they will get soaked with all the water features, check out the tree house, swinging bridges, poison garden aswell.Smootchie Bootchies!0

We went there last year.
Alnwick castle is a good day out (where harry potter was filmed)
Just up the road there is a little place where kids can learn to make pots (I think its called pot-a-doodle-do)
The pool at haggerstone is OK
They also have pony trekking
There are beaches nearby which are OK if the weather is good
The nearest supermarket we found was morrisons which was five miles away
Holy island is nice we went for a drive over the causeway and stayed there for the day
Conundrum farm is good if you have little kids
Check this link it should give you a few pointers
