Another small success

Just to say that I'd share a bit of my success as this is the first month since I can't remember when that after all my bills, payments and general spending has been done I'm NOT into my overdraft!!

Now I know that doesn't exactly warrant shouting from the rooftops but its a big deal to me after YEARS of being in my overdraft (and paying about £15 a month for it!). Its another step on my road to being totally debt free.

To all those who are thinking there's no light at the end of the tunnel believe me there is, it just takes a fair bit of time and effort but its worth it. Keep your chin up guys, it does get better eventually!

Well done! And it does warrant shouting from the rooftops - it is these kind of milestone achievements that keep us going I think.

well done you!!! feels good to be in control don't it! :T:T
I have learnt from my in-debt days....never again!
  • indeed it does KipKip!

It was the last of my crappy little niggling debts, I'm now free to tackle the last two loans in my sig. Should be able to get rid of the Nat West one by the end of the year, hopefully!! And the student loan one has a negative interest rate until at least September, lovely!!

I never really totted up how much my debts were at my LBM but they were in the region of £40k!

Big thanks must go to my lovely fiancee who is my whole world.

It's such a great feeling this month for me has been the first where i have food in cupboards, petrol in the car, and all the bills are paid an i still have a little bit of money in purse :) this has to be the first time in many years this is the case and it feels fantastic. So we can shout about it together. Roll on many more months of the same.

Last month was the first in which I didn't go overdrawn in years, I just hope I can keep it up.
