Steady Income?

Hi,

after pulling nearly all my hair out with my ebay business I have had to pull the plug on it because of too many people not paying etc etc. I am looking for a way to make around £10 to £20 a week which is steady. I already have a part time job as well as full time but have a few hours each evening free when I am not doing my course. I am on the lookout for a bar job or something but is there anything I can do in the meantime? trying to save some pennies for our wedding and to clear some debts, any advice would be a great help! I am good with the computer and am a secretary during the day so dont know if this could lead to something? Please help! :)
taken on second job + £160 per month
rejigged my bills + £190 per month
got cheaper car to run + £40 per month
got two liftsharers + £120 p/m
given up smoking since 31/12/2008 + 180 p/m

If you have good admin/sec skills a friend of mine has just given up a job as parish clerk. She earned around £100 a month before tax etc. Tasks included organising and servicing meetings, dealing with post and other enquiries/ correspondence and some statutory duties relating to budgets and auditors etc. All straightforward if you have secretarial skills and all could be done at home other than, of course, attending the meetings which were around one a month in an evening.

    DS

ps, I'm so impressed with your savings - if I earned as much as you have saved I'd be so chuffed - well done!!!

    Hi angelic84 :)
I know you have probably heard this before but party plan is fun and flexible for you to fit around other commitments :)
I am a Party Lite consultant and loving it so far - there is also no start up cost so makes it easy for anyone to give it a go and see if it's for them :)

Hmmmm I was thinking of starting an Ebay business later in the year. Still 50/50 on it though. Perhaps naive of me, but I didn't think a seller would have many people not paying for their items. What area of Ebay was you selling (electricals, toys, clothes, CDs)?

I know when I last came on this website (months ago) people were talking about becoming an online call centre agent for British Gas. Not sure if the jobs are still there, but I believe people might have been able to dictate their own working schedule. Damn, sorry I have not got a clue of the site link provided on these forums at the time. I'm sure though there are simlar jobs available, perhaps listed in these forums somewhere.
