Does Tesco, Calais take Vouchers?

Probably a really stupid question, but we're staying near Calais this summer. I've heard that you can pay in pounds sterling or euros in the Tesco in Calais. Just wondered whether it might be worth taking a few coupons? Probably not, I know! Has anyone tried?

Check the back of your vouchers. Most tesco vouchers will say something along the lines of 'valid in the UK or IOM only' or 'only valid in tesco stores, tesco extra and tesco petrol stations' etc. If you're still not sure, it could be worth taking them with you anyways though, and trying.0
