Wedding Cars - How to do it cheap

Hi,
I am trying to think of cheap ideas for a wedding car. I have looked in to car rental for the day and for 6 hours hire you can get an x type Jag or C class Mercedes, for around £80. Has anyone done this?
If this is not a good plan what else do you suggest? I asked my friends boyfriend if he knew anyone with a nice car who could do it and he said no. So I am bit stuck for ideas and his badgering me.

Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

Hi there.
I got married in June 2005 and I hired a Jaguar X type for the whole weekend and it cost about £130. We got my dad's friend to drive us and then on the Sunday my dad was also insured to drive it and we were driven to the airport in style!
The company was very helpful as I made a special request for it to be silver and whilst they couldn't guarentee the colour, it was a silver one I got!
This was such a cheaper option than wedding car hire, and just as an enjoyable trip!
It depends on how far the journeys will be and if it's only local, might there be someone you know with a decent car that could be scribbed up?! Once it's clean and with ribbons on, it will look great I'm sure!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109
