Thanks for the replies. Sorry for the delay in this reply back.

I have now spoken to both Payplan and CCCS - who both recommend going down the IVA route.

Payplan have suggested a figure of £570 per month for five years plus 75% of my share of the equity - which would be approx £45,000 - does that seem feasible and likely to be accepted (I have not actually spoken to their IP yet)? If so -

1. Would I be in a position to say when the equity was valued and released - i.e. valued in year one and released in year 4?
2. How can I get a remortgage once I am in an IVA? How much more interest ratewise is it likely to be compared to a "normal" mortgage?

CCCS have passed my details on to Grant Thornton - and I waiting to hear from them - are they reputable?

Whilst I desperately want to clear up these debts I obviously want to get the best deal I can. Is it sensible to "shop around" and talk to several IPs to see who gives the best proposal? Also, are there any reputable IPs who are known to be able to negotiate the best deals with success?
