sorry for such a horrible question, but would they stop vomit from going on to the matteress? only asking as my dd is sick alot!

    thank you.

When my children were little I used the cheapy ones jema mentioned and they would stop sick. DD2 took a long while to get dry at night (and I mean a long while) the plasticy backed ones kept her bed dry. She had 2 so if she wet the bed we could whip off the sheets and the mattress protector and set it all up again. It did make a bit of noise and I think as an adult you wouldn't like it but as children are smaller with less body weight I think the noise and heat would be less of a problem

    hi Tim,
we've got fairly new Kozeesleep pocket sprung mattresses (Ortho model I think) & I'd like protectors to keep them nice

what kind would you recommend for them?

If you mattress is comfortable then I'd go for the breathable waterproof type.

I'm really pleased with the mattress, very comfortable, & wanted to make sure I'd make the right choice of protector
I knew you'd be able to point me in the right direction

    thanks for that Tim :)

I bought a new one at the weekend from TK Maxx. RRP £59 and I paid £19.99. Our 6' mattress is quite deep and I was fed up with my M&S one creeping up over the corners :( . This one was marked as extra deep and so far it's brilliant! I've bought JL, Debenhams and M&S before and always put M&S as the better of the three until now. We have protectors on all our beds and pillows - well worth it as they keep them nice and clean.
  • i bought a double matress protector(quilted type) from asda for £5 a while back and its been fine, it washes up lovely and fits well(no popping off at the corners!)ive had this for about 2 years and its still in good condition!theyre still in stock, i seen them the other day

Thanks angel shopper, that sounds good. There isn't an Asda near me but I'll keep my eye out next time I'm visiting friends who have one near them.
