Tesco Clubcard Account 'Stolen'

OK... not stolen but the point remains.
My OH had a Tesco Clubcard in her name and when I applied for a Tesco credit card I used the number on the key fob I had to link her account with my credit card so max the benefit.
What happened is my details replaced the OH's account completely and now the clubcard is 100% in my name. The OH still has a clubcard with her name on but Tesco today told me that its now under my name, my address etc.
My understanding is I (incorrectly) used the OH's clubcard number on my key fob when I should have said that I don't actually have a club card.
It is not an issue for me or the OH but surely its a failure in the system, I took over the OH's account (and points) without Tesco even asking her!

Maybe report it to the customer services and keep on reporting it until you get a satisfactory answer?
Did you want a joint account in both your names or an account each? (unsure)0 -
The weird thing is that when I applied for a Tesco CC, I also gave them my clubcard details to link with it, and I ended up with two clubcard accounts, one for my CC and one on it's own that I have jointly with my OH.
Not complaining though, keep getting vouchers through for X off X spend on the low usage one!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I wanna try it - anyone with 1,000,000 points, let me know and I will try it with your clubcard number!
Knowing TEsco even though we have different names, different addresses and no connection, they may let me take over your account!
