As the other recycling companies only value this at £10ish, it seems odd that Tesco would pay out £60. Is this a genuine mistake by Tesco - will they still pay out?

i have a confirmation by email stating that they will payout £120 + 400 green clubcard points, and that i have 10 days to send in the phones with the envelope they will send in a few days time. also have a unique reference number so they should payout, otherwise iv lost £90 instead of making the £30 profit plus the £20 credit ;)
  • Slight snag I see, If you are a Tesco Mobile customer you get credit to your Tesco Mobile rather than Gift Card . Does anybody know if you can choose Gift Card option instead?

The link given by the OP bypasses the first screen, where you get the choice of airtime or giftcard, and chooses giftcard thank goodness! Only just realised that by going direct to the site, so anyone who ordered a recycle envelope direct from the link will have requested a giftcard.:j

Got to say, that's my concern as I've seen that too. Fonebank for example only pay £10.

Either way, I think it's safe to say that someone's getting fired at Tesco over this one

Thanks OP what a great find.:T
I've ordered 2 in seperate transactions, Quidco's tracked 2 x £7.50 and agreed with T's for £60 each to recycle.

does top cashback work with this? scrub that have finally managed to get back into my quidco account
  • I have a feeling its meant to be £6 not £60.

Last time I recycled a mobile with Tesco I was originally offered £29, I then sent off the mobile, in the meantime it got reduced to £24. They only offered me £24 in the end :(

Not gonna risk it with this kind of possible price drop.
