Mortgage

Hi all

I have been given the opportunity to buy in Spain and therefore approached my current mortgage lender. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to Barter with them about rates/fee etc:wave:

    I very much doubt it but you don't get if you don't ask!!

    Seriously, commercial lending is about the only type of lending that has a bit of room for manouvre.

    Try taking some independant advice on this as deals vary wildly and some will let you switch currency which could mean a reduction in the amount owed if you play the market well.
    Happily an ex mortgage broker!
