Affiliate Schemes - Do they work?

Hi I'm just wondering whether anyone has been an affiliate or is an affiliate and whether it works or not. I keep hearing stories about people making a fortune online by setting up their own blog.

Just wondered if anyone had any experience.

Can take time to get going - but some people get lucky by spotting an opportunity. There is no magic formula for instant success but by putting the effort in I don't see why anyone can't begin to make a few quid.

For example I've made £4.81 today already from my 30 or so hub pages - woohoo! Not a lot, and some days they don't make anything! But over the year that could pay for a holiday, and now I've done the work I can just sit back and reap the rewards .

Check out the thread I started for my thoughts on it - there are lots of resources on the net, although most of them are aimed at extracting money from you so be weary. Unfortunately many people spend much more than they ever make chasing an online passive income. The people who make this work are the ones that keep working at it.
