My daughter is in a terrible financial mess - see this thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2259305

Her HP loan provider wrote to her on 19th January saying:

We refer to our Default Notice and regret that you have not paid the amount of the total outstanding arrears as detailed below.

In the circumstances, we therefore TERMINATE your agreement and require you to return the goods IMMEDIATELY.

Total arrears £792.74.

I only found out about this yesteray, so I'm assuming it will be too late to do anything to prevent them taking the car back. (I will try anyway, but there's no way we can lay our hands on nearly £800 to repay the arrears.) Does anyone know how this will actually happen? Will they just turn up and take the car from outside the house? Will she be required to return the car to the dealership where she bought it? How long is it likely to be before they will take it?
