cabbage in wholegrain mustard sauce

Had cabbage in wholegrain mustard sauce at a carvery yesterday, it was lovely.
Anyone make this?
It was a loose (almost milky) white sauce, with wholegrain mustard & the cabbage was steeped in it.
Googled it but can't find anything that seems it.
Anyone else had this at a carvery?
I've found this

Hi I have it was a James Martin recipe:
1 savoy cabbage (I've used others) shredded, and add about 4tbsp wholegrain mustard, 6fl oz of double cream and s & p.
Melt some butter in a pan, saute cabbage for few mins, stir in mustard, cream and s&p and heat for 3-4 mins, stirring frequently. HTHDebt @ LBM - £25,722 Debt now - £11,811 DFD - April 2012

That simple sauce is delicious with chicken or mushrooms too!0

My MIL used to have it with steak & mushrooms, I haven't had it for ages and it was lovely. She used to buy bags of frozen cream quenelles and just throw a couple of them in the pan of steak & mushrooms and add a tablespoon of mustard. That simple sauce is delicious with chicken or mushrooms too!
Quick & easy, I must give it a try. I don't know if you can still buy frozen cream but it would be easy enough to whip some double up and freeze it in tablespoon portions maybe? Or can you freeze single cream in ice-cube trays? I never use a full tub of cream so I'd rather freeze it than waste it.Dum Spiro Spero0 -
