  • How will a solo card better yourself?????
It will be an invitation to spend!!!!!

Pay off what you owe and then get certificates of satisfaction to show prospective banks that you have paid off your debts.

    Hi shirlbloom

If you mean you want to better your credit rating, a switch card won't help you there.

To improve your credit rating get a Capital One credit card. You may only get the 29.9% APR one (because of your bad history) but if you spend a little (say, £10) a month on it, and always pay it off in full, you will not pay any interest anyway and your credit file will look better because it will show you have a credit card and you are never late with a payment.
    I'm married now! Yippee!
