I love being here with like minded people. At work I work with lots of people who had a different life to me - not having ever been as hard up I can't believe they would understand.

When I sold a car for ~£600 my boss was shocked anyone would pay that for a car as she could not believe such cheap cars could be actually roadworthy - the fact it is the same MOT was not something I could convince her of. A different world.

some people like to live in ignorance, therefore they don't have to take responsibility.

It is wierd sometimes, isn'tit, meeting people at work/wherever and realising how the other half live. A friend and I were talking about the 80s and how it affected our parents and us growing up, and how hard it is to explain to people who did not get affected in any downturns.

that's the thing with the economy, it can only go up so far before it crashes down again.

agreed. I grew up with ordinary people and my current company is a mix of posh and ordinary people, with quite a few posh ones where I work. I find the difference between me and them a bit hard sometimes.
