I already have one of these and its so good that I want to buy another for my father in law but it seems that they are no longer made. Does anyone have one that doesnt suit their requirements or know where I might be able to get one?

Have you tried searching the web? Try the Mega Shopbot if you haven't.
ASDA Direct also sell Bissell products.
Check Bissell Direct as well though do bare in mind, they may not be the cheapest.0
