Too much Naan bread idea

I hope I'm posting on the right board here and apologies if I'm not. I thought this would be fun for those with children.
What happened was that I was doing my shopping online as I had a voucher code to cover the delivery. Anyway, I ordered some Naan bread as I was making a curry and I noticed Tesco finest on a BOGOF offer so I went for them.
The problem was that they are huge and I knew it would be too much for the family in one go.
So what I did was use the spare ones as pizza bases and got the kids to put the toppings on them. They loved making them and eat them all up no problem :j which in turn gave me an extra meal and saving a bit of money in the process.

I second Naan bread for quick pizzas - my 9 year load loves making these - we keep icecubes of frozen tomato sauce specially for them. defrost this, quick layer then he adds onions, ham etc. - 3 minutes max in a hot oven and its done. Incidentally, when I buy fresh mozzarella (the one in the liquid) I drain the liquid off and freeze the ball. This grates really well just from frozen and goes a lot further.0

Naan bread is also divine toasted and buttered - and honey goes particularly well with it. This is my idea of an excellent breakfast the morning after a takeaway curry!0

We also use leftover pitta breads and tortilla wraps for pizza bases - yummy and quick!
Incidentally, if you don't want to buy Naan bread, chapati's are super easy to make yourself - just wholemeal flour and enough water to make a dough, roll out and then cook on both sides in a v hot dry pan until starting to brown.:D0 -
We often use mini naan bread as a picnic idea. I put mozarella, sliced tomatos and herbs on top and bake in oven until tomatoes soft and leave to go cold then slice in half put the bottom half on top and make a sort of sandwich. By the time you get to eat them the filling is lovely and gooey.... I usually use the garlic and coriander naan but plain works just as well, just add a few extra herbs, basil is nice.0
