I am interested in job with this company but have been asked for £140 for licence to sell will writing training courses. Anyone have any knowledge if this is genuine - I know the BTEC courses are available, but not much about FPWPP training, thanks.

I would not recommend this company, it is another company associated with Estate Protection Services run by the same people and is an untrustworthy company merely interested in more funding sources for a failing will writing industry. Take my advice and go to a trusted training firm with past and tested experience and save a lot of money and hassle.0

Why goto such a company when a solicitor can draw up a will...0

Please ignore saver222 as he/she is very ignorant of what FPWPP do. I will give you the correct information which you can check out yourself.
FPWPP Training Specialists Ltd were formed as a Company to deliver relevant training and qualifications to working people (and unemployed - gets them back to work!). They are an approved training centre for City & Guilds, Edexcel (largest awarding body), ILEX - Institute of Legal Executives, AMSPAR - Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Managers, Administrators and Receptionists, ILM - Institute of Leadership and Management.
Estate Protection Services are part of the FPWPP group of companies and do will writing services.
It is correct that the will writing industry has too many rogue elements who are not qualified to provide information to people on such an important matter (recent Panorama programme). It is not regulated by the financial services industry and the government is not interested.
FPWPP realised the need for self regulation and accredited qualifications for will writing - basic will writing, advanced will writing, probate practice etc) and so put together courses and sought independent accreditation - Edexcel accredit the courses.
All of Estate Protection Services will writers are qualified.
Please go to the fpwpp-training and edexcel web sites to get the full picture.
Solicitors have traditionally put together wills (very expensive) but they are not qualified will writers and they are not particularly interested. What they are doing in increasing numbers is putting their administration people on FPWPP will writing courses so they can be charged out as fee earners.0 -

Hmmm, very well and good. Forgive my scepticism from a one post wonder.
Tell me Andrew1960 would you have a vested interest that you should divulge?Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.
