Some lovely flour to recommend for HM bread

Just thought I'd recommend a new bread flour I've been using. I normally buy Lidl's own white bread flour and then the cheapest whole grain or whole wheat flour I can find but thought I'd try a granary one for a change.

Asda have Doves Farm organic Malthouse flour on offer at the mo and it's gorgeous. It's produced the lightest and tastiest loaf I've ever made. :j

Just thought I'd share that with you :D

I'll second that! It does make scrummy bread - I tend to mix it half and half with strong white flour for economies sake, still yummy!

4_14_4.gif now I remember what else it was I needed in tesco!!!

They've reduced Carrs wholemeal and it makes a lush loaf every time - esp when you add pumpkin/sunflower/flaxseed to make even more nourishing!

IIRC it was 1kg for about 65p. I'm going back tomorrow for more ;)

Edit to add....it's so tasty I would pay full price for it but will add some cheap flour to it so it goes further!
