Hiya
Technically this probably isn't the right place to post this thread but you guys always seem so good at sussing out bargains for presents, goody bags, hampers etc I thought I'd start here. I rather excitedly spotted that a large B&M Bargains has opened not far away and so am looking forward to a trip. I wondered whether anybody could let me know of any really good bargains to keep a look out for and also any ones to avoid.
Thank you for taking the time to read.

Hi, I work in B&M so if people let me know a bit more about the kind of thing they're looking for I could keep an eye out for you and report back. To be honest there's tons of stuff that would be good as presents/for hampers etc so it would take ages to post it all! But if I spot anything particularly good I'll let you know.
There's a B&M thread on Grabbit, but I think it's fallen quite far down the boards now, it doesn't seem to get updated anywhere near as much as the Home Bargains one which seems weird to me!D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0 -

If you like cooking or have a cook/baker to buy for, B&M have some VERY resonable priced silicone bakewear (nice colours too) from 99p.
Kids PJ's are good quality too.
Im like a kid in a sweet shop in B&M cause the stuff to finish your home with is great
I am so lucky to have a B&M and a Home Bargain stores within 100yrds of each other. If one does not have what Im looking for the other will.Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

Same here, I'll often pop into Home Bargains on my lunch break, but make sure I wear my coat over my B&M jumper :rotfl::rotfl:
If you're doing an Italian/pasta hamper B&M has some little sachets of Pasta seasoning for 39p. They've got dried garlic flakes, chilli and parsley in a posh looking packet. You just fry them for 1 minute then stir them into cooked pasta.D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0 -

Thanks that's great to know. Pj's are always needed and so expensive or if cheap not good quality.
Bakeware is lovely to do hampers for little girls birthday presents.
I also need a couple of throws so will have a look there as not getting what I want elsewhere.
Thanks again0 -

That's brilliant to know. I have a friend who loves candles but I never like to buy cheaper ones as they can smell so artificial.
Sorry had to do this as a second post I can't work out how to quote more than once in a post so if anyone can let me know I'd be very grateful.
Thanks again0 -
