Loan in my and my ex gf's name
I have a loan that was taken out as part of a Mortgage (125% jobbie with Northern Rock).
I need to get her name removed from the loan as we are no longer together, and I pay the loan anyway. Is this possible?
Thanks

You have to call NR and only if your income stacks up will you be able to have her discharged from the deed.....also she will have to give permission0

Unless your credit rating is good enough for you to take on a new loan (and presumably the mortgage) the answer is no.0

I haven't posted on here before so please bear with me. I moved in with my boyfriend about 18 months ago and foolishly bought a TV from Comet and had a loan to pay for it. Since then my boyfriend and I have split up and he has the TV. The loan was in my name as is the TV itself. You can probably guess what I am going to say next. He promised faithfully to pay for the Tv only £18 per month but every now and again doesn't pay. This has been going on for months and months now. The HFC bank ring my parents house constantly for days on end until he eventaully pays. How can I sort this out. My mum tells me to pay the money every month myself and put it down to a lesson learnt - but surely its my TV. Any help would be much appreciated.0

Amberdow take the tv back and then pay for it yourself or you pay te 18 quid and then take tmot back when ex partner pays x hope that helps

If you can prove it is your TV; a receipt in your name and the loan taken out in your name, I'd be asking for MY tv back. You could also offer to sell it to him for a lump sum (the remainder of the loan amount?). If he does not want to buy your tv, he can give it back.
At least if you are paying for it make sure you have it in your possession.0
