  • I had a NSD yesterday, and today I bought the £15 book I need and £3.78 in Morrisons - but got a few things so not too bad going I think.

May I join in please. After all my dd's are paid I am allowing myself £80 per week for everything else including food. So far this year this has been working quite well especially so because I have so much stuff in the freezer so haven't had to spend too much on food. I have bought some new bedlinen in Debenhams sale £70 for 2 db sets and that has gone on the cc so I have to save from the weekly money to cover that. The weeks I have to stock up on food I won't be able to spend on anything else and vice versa. Today I have £31.91p left from the money I took from the bank last Friday and all the food shopping is done for the week. I am quite pleased so long as I can get through the rest of the week without spending much more. Working in the charity shop tomorrow so that will be a challenge. I went to the craft shop today and bought a load of stuff including a birthday present for a friend but because I had £25 loyality bonus card to spend it only cost me 47p. :j
Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot.
  • Spent £1.50 on a Valentines card for DH. Then had to pay a library fine of 15p, so that puts my weekly spend up to £4.00.

Looks like I will go red this week, as I have just arranged to meet a friend for lunch on Thursday, and expect this to cost around £5.

Morning Peeps! When will I learnt that I am now too old for mid-week gigs?! hehehe

£25 last night, bang on budget because that's all I took with me!

Lunch with my bestie today which will be nice, but of course will mean more pennies from the budget, doh.

    Happy Hump Day Everybody xxx

P.S. After productive lunch hour, I have spent £4.40 on lunch and £0.60 on a card for my Bestie's little girl, who will be 5 on Friday.

 It will be a red week for me this week. Bought a CD that I was desperate for - so far my weekly spend is £13.20 - over budget I know - hopefully will have a couple of spend free days so may not turn out so bad - oh well better luck next week ....

Good luck to everyone who needs it ...

  • I really need to stop spending time with a certain friend! Tuesday night I spent £10 on alcohol and chocolate for a night in. Then yesterday a bracelet for £2.00. I just have no willpower around her! However, she did pay for my dinner in the pub last night. Big fat red for me this week.

My car is in for it's MOT today and I'm stressing a bit about that... although I have £175 saved up for that so fingers crossed it's enough.
