I have a Cahoot card with neary 3 grand on it. Soon I will be getting an accident payout which can pay this off. However it could be six months still for this payout. I already waited a year and half. So should I get a new card to balance transfer or get a loan or wait for this payout? Thanks P.S What are the best loans currently?

What interest rate are you currently paying on cahoot? can you meet the minimum payments in the meantime.

It doesn't sound like a loan will work out effective if you are only talking about 6months or could be less.

The same with a card transfer - if you have to pay around 3% fees will it work out cost effective just for a few months? Also how is your credit rating? are you likely to get a new card with a £3k limit?

  • Well Minimum payment is £69 I called them about stopping interest the woman said they couldnt do that and see a debt councellor. I really hate those people like that. Aso I mentioned they were taking payments from my thousand pound overdraft I THOUGHT I had got down to 300 pounds after two months of asking them to stop interest and they completely blanked my emails for that time. Im not happy
