Homebase/B&Q next 10% off day???

Are homebase or B&Q due a 10% off day?? Anyone know when it's likely to be?

I've got a lot of DIY to do and I want to get cracking, but was hoping to make some savings on the spends.

I went into B&Q (Lincoln) this afternoon. There were several announcements regarding a discount book if you spent £50 but I wasn't really paying attention as I don't shop there very often and wasn't planning a return trip.

However, when I came to pay at the self check-out the sales advisor (she had to come and check something because of the sensitive weighing scales thingy!) said that as I was spending over £50 I was entitled to a book of coupons, and she gave me the booklet. The first coupon was a 10% discount so I scanned it there and then and it took 10% off! I was chuffed :beer:

could you also get the wednesday 10% pensioner discount on top of that- i.e 20% off?

I found a 15% off coupon (all purchases) for B&Q somewhere online - googled it and printed off and presented in-store - but it was about a month ago though. Worked really easily even though we have to do our own checkout these days!!
