Does anybody else here use first step finance?
i've been with them for a year now and yesterday they cleared a 4k debt on my next directory account . im very very happy... but how did they do it??
i asked but it sounded too complicated lol.

It depends on what they did, but anything they can do you can do yourself. Are they charging you a fee.

If they did it via CCA route, the debt is only unenforceable. This means no CCJ can be granted but they can still ask for payment for the next 6 years and add black marks(default/late payment) to your credit file.
