removing lipgloss from a cream carpet

how can i get purple lip gloss off a cream carpet my grandson decided to have a play in my daughters bedroom. She's not impressed to say the least:mad:

try make up remover pads or wipes - they are formulated to get make up off.
failing that - johnsons baby wipes are excellent at getting make up off carpet.
another way is shaving foam, spray some on then leave it to work for five minutes and then gently sponge off.
if none of these work - then come back and someone will have the answer!
