We are having an italian buffet at work. Does anyone have ideas for buffet and decorations?

    Hi mortagehelp,

For the food here are few things off the top of my head

    pizza,
    pasta salad
    olives
    italian cheeses
italian cured meats (eg pepperoni, salami)
    melon and proscuito
tricolore salad (sliced tomatoes, avocado and buffalo mozzarella, drizzled with balsamic vinegar and scattered with torn basil leaves)
    ciabatta and garlic bread

If you can do hot food, what about meatballs, lasagne or a pasta bake?

For dessert, mini tiramisu, zabaglione or pannacotta.

For the decorations what about making some little Italian flags with the names of the dishes printed on them?

I think Pink has beaten me to it! I have served lasagne, with pizza, garlic bread, tricolor salad, etc. Lasagne is fine obviously as long as you can keep it hot!!!

I love doing an Italian themed buffet - best way of entertaining dinner party stylie when you don't have enough room around the table!

I would decorate with a white table cloth with smaller red and green table cloths. I would then use white, green and red napkins.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
