Salter Electronic Kitchen Scales - £10

Seen other scales at this price, but this one from BHS (with a 10 year guarantee) is £23 in amazon and has good reviews. Salter Model No 1004

I paid £40 several years ago for mine, best scales I ever bought and an absolute steal at this price ;)

I got these in the sale, think I paid £16 but still a bargain at that.
Super easy to use and great for weighing things before I post them on ebay\amazon :)

  • I have these scales and they are the best I've ever bought. They will slip in a row of cookbooks in the kitchen and hardly take up any space, very accurate too, even for very small quantities.
I bought mine 6 years ago, they recently stopped working after being in daily use. I returned them to Salter for repair but had lost my receipt, they replaced them with a brand new set within a week, great service. 15 year guarantee, can't go wrong for £10.

I bought them instore (Lakeside). They had about 20 of them. So you may find them in your local BHS?

I picked up some scales in Sainsburys today very similar to these for £9 instead of £40.
Sorry can't remember what make they were and am unable to look at the moment, but just a heads up for anyone who may want to look tomorrow.
I've looked on line but they're not on their site so must be instore only.

Out of stock online and the listing has now been removed from BHS.co.uk but I went to my local store this morning @ Lewisham Shopping Centre and they had them instock @ £10 with approx. 14 left.

Just bought a set of theses Salter scales in BHS Lakeside - £10 - reduced from £40 as posted earlier. They have about 10 of these left if anyone is interested.
