Washing instructions for G Plan settee covers

I have just bought a secondhand G plan three piece suite which the cushions. backs and arms covers can all be unzipped for washing, but I can't see any washing instructions. Can anyone tell me please the highest temperature I can safely wash them in as the arms especially are really grubby
Thanks

  • I believe it is 40 degrees, but I would wash on 30 degrees
Never put them in a tumble dryer.
If they are very grubby, pre-soak them in a warm bath with washing powder and a squirt of washing up liquid and leave overnight if possible
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Just checked my loose covers which are 100% cotton and it says 40c with an unbroken line underneath. And no tumble dryer. I'd probably invest in some Ariel tablets with Febreze to get them clean on a low temp, and smelling fresh!:)
