One of my husbands debtors is in the process of taking him to court - CCJ. They have sent him an admissions form to fill in which he has done but now they want him to send details of my child benefit, tax credits and any income I have. Is he obliged by law to include these figures as the debt is his not mine. We do have joint debt which I understand would require these figures but wasnt sure of the situation with it being his debt only?. I dont have any income apart from these benefits and he has put dependents on the form.Any clarification would be good.
We are also being harrassed by telephone by Halifax and Rockwell debt despite sending them the harrassment letter asking them to contact us via letter only, anybody aware of the next step in dealing with such cases? The letters were sent recorded delivery so I assume thewy have had them?

you are not responsible for anybodys debts but your own child benefit is for the child and not for paying dodgy debt collectorsGRADUATED FIRST CLASS WITH HONORS FROM THE SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS RECOMENDED READ IF BY RUDYARD KIPLING0
