First win after 1000 comps!

i have enterd approx 1000 comps since 14th jan, and have won...


a creame egg beach ball!

think im gonna give up....unless its a start of more to come

think i am extreammly unlucky just been laid of work as well!


how long does it take to win? am i expecting to much:eek:

Keep at it mate.......if you have only been entering since 14th January you wont really be seeing that many wins yet.

I've been winning comps that I entered in November/December recently! I tend to think some of the comps run 2/3 months behind! So even if the end date is expired you might not be notified/receive prize till a month later :eek:

I'm sure you'll get something good sooner of later :beer:

I started dec 23rd and ive entered 3500+ so far ive had 4 wins about £80 pounds worth! hoping the bigger wins are just round the corner,if you have spare time to enter comps-you have nothing to lose-but lots a gains,if your lucky:D keep on comping youtr time will come!

I agree, I was comping for a while last year and gave up because I wasnt really winning anything and then about a month later I got a letter saying that I had won a Wii and game and then a couple of days later I won a tripple CD... It does take a while for the wins to start coming in - Keep it up xx

I entered about 1000 comps in January and won half-a-dozen small prizes. I was happy to win but feel a bit baffled when I read about people winning 2/3 times a day.

You might have won some more prizes but some do take an age to come though. I won a prize once and it arrived out of the blue in December, when I checked back it was for a comp that had ended in June :eek: They're not all that slow at getting the prizes out but most do take a good month from the draw date to the prize getting to the door.

It's like scaramanga says, if you're not doing anything else then it's worth a punt. I'd not give up my day job to comp but I do prefer it to watching the soaps and doing housework

my last win was a pair of cinema tickets and the film book, spent last night at the cinema watched a great film with my partner came home with the satisfaction of not spending a penny on a night out! coutesy of this site and all the great posters;)

Congratulations. Keep at it as others have said it can take a while for prizes to come through I got a prize from a Mother's Day comp in September but also did you notice the closing dates on the comps that you entered? Some competitions run for months befor they are drawn so you will still be in the running with those ones. Good luck.
