How Can This Be Right

After contacting the CSA I find this unbelievable what I just heard.
Basically I pay CM, have done for years on old system. My Daughter strted college last sept but left in Dec. She has informed the college. Im unsure as to whether my ex wife is still claiming CB. I am aware that bthere are times that she can still claim this after children have left college. She plans to return to a different college next sept.
Anyhow based on this info I asked where i stand, They said they could check if she is in receipt of CB and if not then should be case closed.Because I have given them added info re college they MAY check this out. I asked the question ''Does that mean if she is still getting CB and you ask my ex if my Daughter was till at COllege and she says Yes then thats the word you take'' of which.....yes you guessed it, that could well be the case and case would remain open.....flabbergsated that this could be the case, Ive given them info which they may or may not act upon, Any advise please as Ive had a LOT of hardship with this so called agency in the past and to be honest its stressful just to contact them but to hear that.....lol......beats me

If she is fraudulently claiming child benefit report her to the benefit fraud people. They might not do anything though unfortunately. Not really surprising though.August GC 10th - 10th : £200 / £70.61
