Scot Am/Prudential maturity

My endowment matures in May, and I know that they will write to me four weeks prior regarding payment details etc. I will actually be away on the maturity date. In your opinion (Dunstonh, my friend) can they delay issuing or sending the cheque as I don't want to have it hanging around on my kitchen floor for two weeks. I know I can ask them, but just wondered if you have had any exprience of this. Thanks

Standard Life paid the proceeds of my policy in to the bank account I was paying the direct debit from.

I would think Pru are advanced enough to do the same if requested.

Strangely enough, they are not that advanced! In the letter I received it states " Please note that we do not have the facility to pay maturity proceeds by BACS/Telegraphic Transfer"
