Paying off A&L Loan

Hi guys, I'm hoping someone will be able to help me with this...
I have an outstanding A&L Loan which has about 2 and a half years left on it.
I had planned to pay this off using a Tesco credit card with 0% on purchases for 12 months and could have the credit card paid off in this time, obviously helping to pay my debt off quicker. (I have received the Tesco card)
However, I have just called Alliance&Leicester and they will only take payment from the bank account from which the loan dd's are taken each month.
I am struggling to think of a way round this, any advice?
Thanks in advance!

do you have the cash or is it from a credit card, if you have the cash you can transfer it easy to their bank account0

No I don't have the cash.
I have the credit card which is 0% interest on purchases. The credit limit on it is £3k and loan is about £2.8k.
I don't think I am able to take enough cash out on the credit card to pay off the loan as it has 30% advance limit, and also I would then be charged interest on taking out the cash.

Sounds like you need a Super Balance Transfer card, you can transfer the cash straight to your bank account, before paying off the loan.
Looks like Barclaycard and Virgin are your best bet. Search the site for a bit more info.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
Thanks, that sounds like what I need. I will search the site now for that.0
