Hello all, would anyone know if the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham is open Easter Friday (2nd April) or the Saturday (3rd April)?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The calender doesn't suggest they aren't although I would say saturday is a better bet.
You could look on here http://jewelleryquarter.net/category/directory/ and call a couple of the shops and see if they are open?Bump due 22nd September0 -
Don't know if this will help but we went over August bank holiday weekend in 2009. On the Sunday about 2 shops were open all the rest were shut, and opening hours on a Sunday are different as well, they close early.
So I would guess they may be shut on the Sunday. Hope that helps.0 -
I've established that a good number are open on the Friday/Saturday. So, last minute question is: Does anyone have any personal recommendations for companies to go to in the Jewellery Quarter?
Not long now...
Many thanks.0 -
In the past I have used E L Chaplain on Frederick Street and The Diamond Centre on Warstone Lane - there are lots of shops too numerous to mention really.0

We go ours from Paul green last Easter

The shop doesn't look great but the rings are lovely and cheap!!!Green and White Barmy Army!0 -
Dont forget to haggle, with a smile on your face.0

I got mine from G L Bicknells and sons. They were lovely and my ring was exactly what we were looking for, which was an acheivment as there were so few with a tanzanite as the main stone! Remember that there are thousands of Diamond rings here though!! Have fun choosing!0

Newey's. It's always busy so that is a good sign. I have all my jewellery from there.0

Another vote for Neweys here.0

Thanks for all the suggestions.0
