try and book airport hotel and parking for one adult.

Thanks for alerting me to this Tom, it sounds interesting.

I've tried it for a park & stay at the Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport.

Holiday Extras is coming up as £110. The same package is on the Crowne Plaza (ichotelsgroup.com) site for £116, but only £79 on their Advance Purchase rate (purchased at least 7 days in advance).

I can't see why Holiday Extras would object to comparing it to the £79 rate (the stay I'm planning is over 7 days away anyway, regardless of who I book with, so it's a like-for-like comparison).

    What do you reckon?

i had the same thing last year with Ramada Gatwick, it was cheaper on their site. I told H E that the advance purchase rate isnt flexible nor is the prioduct i am buying. their £2 insurance is a standalone product. I would say it was a go'er.

did they fill out a form over the phone, expect a call tomorrow from Lorraine.
  • Holiday Extras called today and said I had a "match" and they would refund ALL the money paid on return (from hols) . Melaine gave me her direct number and working hours and told me to call when we returned. She said ALL the money would be returned to card that day INCLUDING CC fees and cancellation insurance so its completely free and saved me over £200 !!! WOW

    Thanks again TBeckett100 x

I am not convinced about the "all fees" being repaid, but even so 2 return cabs, 2 rooms and 2 brekkies for £7 is about as good as it gets. Saves the £40 i would have spent on parking.

    well done!
