I work in marketing for one of the leading suppliers to education, nurseries, schools, and higher ed. We sell a few puzzles and they do ok, not incredible sales but enough to keep going with them and bring more in. If you're going to go down this route i think one of things you need to focus on is the subject of the puzzle. If you can get that one sorted you'll have more of an idea of what kind of puzzles to offer for sale. its all well and good finding out if people buy puzzles, but then you've got thousands to look at to try and determine which ones to buy and try selling. We obviously focus on eductional puzzles or one that carry some kind of 'message', but you free to choose anything and with such a wide range to choose from i think an idea would be to as i said try and determine the popular types. Films, tv shows, childrens characters would probably be a popular choice but then you've got to bear in mind that such things have a very short shelf life, so as long as you can arrange a quick supply and route to market you'll be ok, but otherwise choose subjects that have more longevity.
Hope that helps a little.0
