How do I go about getting mortgage account de

How do I go about getting mortgage account details of a closed and payed up mortgage account with igroup as they won't give me the details I spoke to someone in India and they wanted a sort code from the bank I paid my mortgage with at the time and as this was probably more than 4 years ago and as I have no paper work couldn't answer that security question I knew everything else. help much appreciated

    found some old paper work so don't worry about this. thanks if you read.
