If said child turns out too be his will his assent be the £5 a week as he signs on? or will they take child tax credits into account?

I think as he's on benefits, it'll just be thre £5 a week. This has been asked a few times recently. Kelloggs (an ex CSA employee) has stated that if the Non Resident Parent is on JSA, they will only pay £5 a week, regardless of tax credits in the household.

  • Even though he signs on just too get his stamp?, he receives no money from jsa as my wages wipe that out.

Hmm sorry didn't catch that bit. Maybe someone can clarify, or you could ring the CSA anonymously and ask what would happen in such circumstances.

Why did the CSA say they couldn't answer?

And why am I not surprised at the last part?

Great. You could try ringing again and speak to someone who does know the answer. That's what they are paid for after all. Cheeky sod.

Im not an absolute expert but may I suggest your worst possible scenario?

First how much CTC are you getting (WTC is not taken into account as you are clearly the major wage earner but if that changes then the WTC portion would also count as income).

So worst case they take his JSA income £0 add it to the CTC £x and if its below £100 per week then you have to pay £5 per week flat rate maintenance. If CTC is above £100 then for the first £100 you pay £5, then for the next £100 you pay 25%, but this will then be adjusted down because you have other children living with you ("relevant children" to term thier phrase)

I hope that helps, hope the answer on the DNA test is the answer he and you want!
Relativity - the study of relativity will reveal that time passes through all points simultaneously prooving that space and time are entirely reletive depending on who is asking the question and what answer you want to give.

Space is not merely slightly curved it can be bent to touch itself without breaking the rules of relativity. :rotfl:
  • Thank you that helps loads. xxx
